Rosemary a Powerhouse Herb

My husband and I have 2 adult girls. Both of our girls are smart and accomplished. I am not just saying that because they are mine. Honestly, I’m not and they are. Anyway, stay focused. I’m getting to the point. The other day in our family group chat, my husband posted, “you can strengthen your memory with rosemary”. To which the girls and I responded, "ok." He doubled down by sending a link to an article. To which the girls and I responded, “Awesome, there is hope and you better start eating it soon.” His response was, “No, I’m sending this for you all.” To which we collectively responded “lol!” Remember, I started with how sharp our girls are and I’m not too bad myself. It is truly my husband with the memory problem.


Turns out Rosemary is a powerhouse of an herb. One writer wrote that if they had to choose one culinary herb with them on a desert island, it would be rosemary. Salvia Rosmarinus, commonly known as rosemary, is a fragrant evergreen shrub. It is a very versatile herb, used for seasoning your food, in perfumes, helps with memory, reduces inflammation, and protects against cancer.

I am in full agreement; Rosemary would be an excellent choice if you could only choose one herb to take with you on a deserted isle. All of this and it tastes great!
